spike in demand for ACC services. The result is that most ACC therapists

Sensitive claims for sexual violence
When we are sexually abused or violated it can effect us in many different ways,
physical, emotional, mental & spiritual. This is compounded when we are
betrayed by people we know. One common reaction is to loose trust both
in other people and ourselves. So we understand the courage it takes to
reach out for help and healing.
Fully funded (free) counselling is available for anyone who has
experienced sexual abuse or sexual assault. This may be for events anytime in the recent or distant past. This is available through ACC or
directly though ACC
approved therapists. To receive funding, you must use an ACC registered

PTSD, inexplicable bouts of anger, relationship difficulties, lack of assertiveness,
self-esteem, eating disorders, body image, and many other disturbances.
