In therapy, you can discover not only the source of your pain, but also your strengths. While working on difficulties and challenges, new areas of potential and growth can emerge to help you live more satisfyingly.

Approach : Everyone experiences things that get them down from time to time. Perhaps you have been feeling stuck or hopeless in one or more areas of your life and nothing seems to be helping. If so, talking to someone who is trained to listen and work with you to develop new insights that can help you live more effectively and meaningfully with life's challenges.

I use a range of evidence-based modalities and strategies to work with you, whether the difficulties you face are new developments or long-term issues. Therapy provides a confidential, non-judgmental space for you to talk about your feelings and concerns. The therapeutic relationship is based on warmth, trust and empathy and is a vehicle for exploring and working through the things that are causing you distress.

I will work with you to develop deeper insight into how things came to feel as they do now. This offers the opportunity to develop new ways of relating to yourself and your world. Through deeper self-awareness you can develop a wider range of possibilities from which to choose how to respond to life situations. The lasting growth and change that psychotherapy facilitates can help you to experience life as meaningful, purposeful and hopeful.
