NB: I am only accepting online clients right now.
The gist of my work: Having been trained as both a psychotherapist and a Yoga psychology teacher, I view life’s experiences as integral to our soul’s journey toward wholeness. Through healing and learning from our past, we cultivate greater awareness, awaken our inner light, uncover our purpose, and recognize our innate qualities and gifts. My approach integrates the scientific foundations of Western psychology - including psychodynamic & transpersonal perspectives - with the wisdom of Eastern and Indigenous traditions, such as Yoga philosophy & mindfulness. If this approach resonates with you, I would be honoured to support you on your journey.
I am here to assist you in connecting with your inner source of wisdom, unlocking your full potential across multiple dimensions of life - physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual - and overcoming the barriers that may be limiting you, including conditioning, harmful belief systems, distorted perceptions, and past traumas.
Experience and specialisms: I specialise in areas of personal growth, spirituality, conscious/healthy relationships (with self and others, trauma, existential issues, integration of body-mind-spirit, and connection with self, others and the world.
Common issues that the people I see struggle with include stress/anxiety, depression, emotional difficulties, social/relationship issues, abuse, change/transition issues, mind/body conditions/diseases, physical or mental distress, unhealthy behaviours, identity crisis, lack of self-esteem, and trauma.
Approach and modalities: My approach combines the sciences behind Western psychologies (psychosynthesis, psychodynamic / psychosomatic / transpersonal / relational psychotherapy) with the wisdom behind Eastern traditions / philosophies (Yoga psychology, Buddhism, Mindfulness, etc.), to support the holistic healing of the individual.
I am also a certified Havening practitioner (an emerging science-based technique for trauma recovery), and Reiki practitioner (a form of energetic healing).
I work with people mid-long term, in a 50m session once a week.
Client groups: I support adults of all ages, cultures, genders, sexual orientations, religions, belief systems, backgrounds, experiences, and ways of living. Everyone can expect to be accepted and honoured for exactly who they are.
