Tzach provides psychotherapy and counselling to help people address current challenges and long-standing issues, as well as to explore their unique way of being with themselves and others.
Clients : Adolescents, adults & couples.
Services : I hold over 20 years of experience in private practice and community settings in both New Zealand and NSW, Australia, practicing from a compassionate and empathic position as a way of helping you change, heal, and grow awareness about your way of relating to yourself and others.
I aspire to create an emphatic space for therapy in which you can feel that your subjective experience is both welcomed and understood. This form of psychotherapy allows you to understand and heal from recurring painful experiences and events that may stem from limiting psychological and relational patterns.
I work with a wide range of presenting issues such as anxiety, depression, complex trauma, developmental trauma, grief and loss, sexuality, LGBTIQ+, couples therapy, midlife crises, chronic pain, and syndromes (fibromyalgia, CFS). My current research passion focuses on environmental toxins such as heavy metals and other poisons and their impact on human suffering.
Approach : I engage with you in psychotherapy through a relational psychodynamic lens, emphasising the importance of addressing the whole person, encompassing feelings, body, mind, spirit, and environment. The therapeutic relationship plays a crucial role in the therapy process, offering a space to delve into both conscious and unconscious dynamics, emotional experiences, beliefs, and perspectives on the world. I adhere to the Code of Ethics, maintain professional standards, engage in ongoing training, and uphold the service delivery standards set by the professional associations to which I belong (PBANZ, APANZ).
Areas of Special Interest : Grief & Loss. Bereavement. Depression & Anxiety. Chronic Pain. Functional disorders (IBS, Auto immune, Chronic fatigue syndrome, Fibromyalgia). Sexuality & Gender. LGBTI+. Childhood trauma. Adult trauma. Complex PTSD. Relationships. Couples therapy & Life transitions.
