I am a caring and kind therapist who has a heart for people who are struggling and supporting them through difficult times. I love to meet people wherever they are at, and I have skills and experience in a wide range of challenges that people face. I have particular strengths in supporting people seeking personal and relational understanding and growth, those suffering from trauma and abuse, anxiety and fear, chronic or severe physical illness, caregivers of unwell others, existential and spiritual uncertainty.

Client Types : Adults.

Issues Covered : Anxiety, Depression, Emotional Instability, Grief & Loss, Identity, Loneliness, Personal Development, Physical Illness, PTSD & Trauma, Religious Issues, Self-Esteem, Sexual Abuse, Social Anxiety, Stress, Toxic Shame, Transitions & Change.

Approach : I offer both short-term and long-term psychotherapy, depending on your needs.
From a space of genuine care and interest I want to understand what is happening for you. I offer a safe, accepting, and inclusive space. In that space you will find you can more easily be yourself, talk about what is troubling you, and feel the relief of being heard by an empathic therapist.

I have a particular interest and specialty in working with people who have lived with long-standing suffering, often from complexity throughout their lives leaving them feeling isolated, not knowing themselves, having difficulty relating with others and knowing how to be in the world.

The therapy I provide is a collaborative and creative process. From an open and interpersonal space, we can come to understand more deeply what is troubling you. Working together we will gain insight into how you tick and to how you relate to others. This creates the potential for not only symptom relief, but also developing a more harmonious and loving relationship with yourself and with others.

I enjoy practicing relational psychodynamic psychotherapy, which is my main approach. I also utilise other therapeutic approaches and skills, depending on your needs and what is best for your wellbeing.

I offer both online and in person sessions at Botany Downs. Please feel free to email me with questions and/or to arrange a time for a brief phone or video call so you can meet me, and we can see if working together feels like a good option.
