Description of Therapy Services

I have previously worked with (and welcome enquiries from) adults over the age of 18, from a variety of cultural and religious backgrounds, sexualities and gender identities. I have been honoured to be a part of all of my clients’ journeys toward improved quality of life and a more peaceful, authentic way of being in the world. I would be honoured to be a part of your journey too.

I provide psychotherapy in a safe, friendly, confidential, non-judgemental setting. I’m committed to working alongside you in order to truly understand your story and assist you in finding relief and achieving long-lasting change.

Outcomes of psychotherapy can include: personal growth and an improved ability to accomplish your goals, more fulfilling relationships with both yourself and other people, a higher level of self-awareness and understanding, greater emotional intelligence and an increased capacity to cope with and work through life’s challenges, as well as to appreciate all of the great things life has to offer.

I endeavour to foster the development of warmth, trust and mutual respect with clients, to help them feel comfortable discovering, accepting and being their authentic, uncensored selves, first in therapy and then in life.

Therapeutic Approach and Modalities

Psychotherapy helps people address what is causing them mental distress by looking deeper and determining the underlying, often historical causes of their suffering.

My way of working is both psychodynamic (exploring how your past experiences affect your present) and client-centred (meaning that you and your unique, individual experience remain our sole focus).
