About Me : Hello! I am a Registered Psychotherapist with a private practice in Takapuna. I am registered with the ACC sensitive claims service and with Victim Support. I also support the recovery sector. I am a dual British and New Zealand citizen who lived in London for 18 years. I have worked across the U.K, Europe, North America and Asia Pacific.

I provide warm, respectful, confidential therapy that will challenge you when appropriate. I am used to working with male and female clients of all ages and cultural backgrounds. My clients say they value my professional manner, my critical thinking and my sense of humour. Please don't hesitate to reach out for help. I look forward to supporting you.

My Approach : My therapeutic work draws on relational psychodynamic psychotherapy, trauma informed therapy, psychology, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), Māori models of health and wellbeing, and recovery practices. My work is also informed by experiences in my long career in business.

Issues Covered : PTSD and trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional instability, grief and loss, identity issues, loneliness, migration adjustment, alcohol and substance use, physical illness, relationship issues, self-esteem, social anxiety, transitions and change, communication and social skills.

Qualifications : Master of Psychotherapy (first class hons) AUT 2025, Post Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy AUT 2022, MSc Organisational Design and Development, MA and BA English Literature

Registrations and Memberships : Full registration with the Psychotherapists' Board of Aotearoa New Zealand, full membership of the Association of Psychotherapists of Aotearoa New Zealand (APANZ), registration with the ACC sensitive claims service and Victim Support.
