My work is grounded in relational and psychodynamic psychotherapy, with attention to how early attachments and relationships, lived experience, and social context shape our patterns of feeling and relating today. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and the impact of trauma, as well as those seeking a deeper understanding of themselves. Therapy offers a confidential and steady space to explore recurring patterns and to feel more anchored and at ease within yourself.

Approach : I am a registered psychotherapist with the Psychotherapists Board of Aotearoa New Zealand (PBANZ) and I am a member of the Association of Psychotherapists Aotearoa New Zealand (APANZ) and Waka Oranga.
My background in public health policy and research continues to inform a practice that recognises emotional life as both deeply personal and socially situated. Wellbeing is shaped not only by personal history but also by family, culture, community, and the broader social conditions in which we live. I am committed to practising in ways that are culturally responsive and attentive to the responsibilities of working in Aotearoa New Zealand.
I offer a brief, 15-minute consultation over the telephone to discuss what it is going on for you and to notice how it feels to work together. I am happy to provide WINZ funded therapy.
