Client Types : Adults.
I work with adults who feel they are ‘stuck’ in some way and are willing to work on creating lasting change for themselves. In a world of increasing uncertainty and rapid change, I offer a therapeutic relationship in which you can experience me as a steady, reliable and consistent presence: someone who can stay alongside you through times of mental, emotional or spiritual turmoil, helping you find your way back to yourself. I offer a space where you do not need to have the right words or know exactly what needs fixing. You simply need to show up as you are.
Psychotherapy offers a space to slow down, make sense of what is happening, and feel genuinely understood. Together, we can become curious about the patterns, feelings and deeper needs beneath the surface, creating the possibility for greater self-understanding, connection and meaningful change.
Issues Covered : I support adults experiencing:
I also enjoy working with people exploring questions of identity, meaning and “Why am I the way I am?”
I have experience working with gifted adults, with people with ADHD and/or dyslexia, and with those whose loved-one is slipping away due to dementia.
About working with me : I work relationally, which means that the therapeutic relationship we create together is an important part of the process. I tailor my approach to the person sitting in front of me, combining Transactional Analysis with an integrative, right-brain-oriented approach, mindfulness and somatic methods like Havening. This means I pay attention not only to what you tell me, but also to what happens emotionally in the room: the tone of your voice, your body language, your feelings and the subtle shifts in connection.
For me, therapy is about more than gaining insight. Understanding why we think, feel or behave in certain ways can be incredibly helpful, but lasting change often happens when new understandings are also felt, experienced and integrated. Together, we can begin to recognise old patterns, acknowledge where they came from, and explore new ways of relating to yourself, to others and to the world.
I do not see you as someone who needs to be fixed. I see you as someone who has developed ways of navigating life that once made sense, and who may now be ready to update some of those old patterns.
You can expect me to be warm, curious, honest and engaged. I will listen carefully, sometimes challenge you gently, and help you make sense of what is happening without reducing you to a diagnosis or a problem.
Psychotherapy is not about becoming someone else. It is about becoming more fully yourself, with greater choice, connection and freedom.
