Keynote Statement : I am a psychotherapist and supervisor with a wide experience gained over 25 years, and pastoral experience in ministry, gained over 35 years as an Anglican Self- supporting Priest. My original training as a health professional was as an Occupational Therapist, working in Mental Health and Rehabilitation. I work with a broad range of people attending to issues such as grief and loss, anxiety, depression, life stress, relationship difficulties, mental health, spirituality, finding meaning in life, transitions, and ageing.

Professional Membership : Member NZ Association Psychotherapists, Registered Psychotherapist (PBANZ), Member Association of Christian Spiritual Directors (ACSD), Member Spiritual Directors International (SDI).

My particular areas of interest : include supervision of a wide range of people, psychotherapists, health professionals, those in education, ministry, nursing, medicine, and palliative care. Spirituality as an integral aspect of being human, continues to be a lifetime work in continual development as I work with others and travel my own journey. I have particular interest in assisting those facing transitions in life and existential issues, through a process of discovery, new meaning and wellbeing.

Approach : I practice with emphasis on building a relationship which supports each person in finding their unique path to enhanced wellbeing and life. The theoretical approaches which undergird my practice include psychodynamic psychotherapy, informed by psychoanalytic thought, mind/body approaches, with experience of psychodrama, and transactional analysis.
